Happy Feet- pamper mission #1
Every woman deserves to be pampered, even if she has to do it herself. So here are some tips/guidelines for a great at home pedicure
*Use a foot file or pumice stone in the shower (or bath) to buff away calluses
*Dry feet thoroughly with towel after shower
*Soften feet with shea butter, coconut oil, or lotion of choice
*Trim nails carefully- don't cut them too short
*Gently push back cuticles - if you don't have the tool for this, use a pencil eraser wrapped in tissue
*Swab nails with polish remover
*Use a nail polish with 1 coat coverage
*Blow dry toes on warm for 2 minutes and then cold for 1 minute
Repeat as needed.
Make sure to show off your cute little toes, maybe in your favorite set of comfy flip flops?

Great Workout site
I recently found this website through an Ad of Facebook.
Their short workout videos explain each exercise clearly. I especially like the fact that the categorized it based on where you are in your pregnancy- by trimester, post-natal & active mom. If you are still trying to conceive, i assume any exercise listed under active mom would be ok to try...
...remember to consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program (Yes I HAD to say that)

Work, Sex, Sleep... There HAS to be more! There is!
Fire up the romance, by getting away from each other! :)
Sometimes, you just can't handle being in his presence for one more second, you eat together, sleep together, make love with only each other. Shower together, sometimes * oh the embarrassment* pee while he's in the bathroom! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I know the feeling ladies, I have the added bonus of also WORKING with my Husband, Laura and Heather also know all about that!
Yeesh, nothing takes the sexy out of romance like no surprises, and nothing to talk about... no joke!
You may ask yourselves, how do I get us out of this rut?
the answer is far more simple than you may think.. you get yourselves out of the rut by simply getting away.... from each other.
Honey I know that you have friends or family out of town who you want to see, but he never can "make the time" which translates roughly into is too lazy to go with you, so awesome!!! Offer him a chance to go with you, and when he refuses accept it gracefully and go anyway!!!!
I know that when you get back, the sex will be great, the conversation will be sparked, and the love that was beginning to dull with OVER POLISHING if you catch my drift, will be back and ready to work! :D
It's nice to have you time, you need to drive int eh car and listen to YOUR favorite radio station, or go to a baby supply depot ( Burlington coat factory, or babies r us) and totally freak out and daydream over your baby's room.
we all know that we have gone to mother hood maternity ( or another store just like it) and tried on the baby bellies, just to see what we would look like pregnant, and realized how freaking perfect we will look as mothers.
So take my advice, and get out of the house, without your spouse. Go do something spontaneous and amazing. :) You know you want to! <3

Why you should eat to concieve!
Many people ask the question, why do I have to eat right to make a baby? people accidentally make babies all the time. Right but if you were the type of people who could accidentally make babies all the time you probably wouldn't be reading this post.
You have the amazing ( Though disheartening sometimes)_ Chance to decide you want to have a baby before you have to have a baby. :) So it only makes sense that you should eat correctly now, to start the habit during pregnancy, which will then carry over in to breast feeding if you are, and then into the baby's solid food intake. Talk about creating a solid foundation huh?
The choices you make today, from buying a new car, to a bag of cheetos vs carrot sticks and ranch will effect the future, that means your baby.. and since I know that all of you want a healthy baby, and a healthier you, I suggest you talk to your doc, about getting referred to a nutritionist, or do what I did, and get What to expect, eating well when you're expecting, read it through, figure out which recipes you can stomach ( Salmon pocket? *GAG*) And which you can't, and go from there.
Don't start adding those extra calories to your diet until you actually recieve the news that your bun is in the oven please. no need to give yourself that extra padding, while it will just make it harder for those of us who are not dainty to conceive.
Anyways, just my 2 cents!! *huggles and good luck as you pee on the stick this month!*

Caffeine and Nicotine, fertility fuck ups?
If there is anything that can hamper fertility, it's nicotine, and the over consumption of caffeine!
Nicotine, put the cigarettes DOWN, you do not want them, nor do your ovaries.
If you are already pregnant and still smoking, consider this, you are trapping your baby in a womb that is filling with smoke on a daily basis. He or she can't get away from the poison. That's right Poison, it's Poisoning the precious bundle you are trying to nurture. So put it out!
Caffeine, Not so bad in moderation, no more than 200 mg a day, that could be as many as 4-5 sodas a day! Just moderate moderate moderate when it comes to chemicals that act as stimulants. Sometimes take them completely out of your life.
Drugs: Weed, Crack, Heroine, Speed... Stop doing those, this may sound silly, but think about it, those drugs are affecting your baby's brain at this very moment! Do yourself, and your unborn child a favor and get off the drugs.
Remember ladies, these rules aren't just for the luckily expecting, it's also for the desperately trying/hoping.

All this tracking has me feeling like a hound dog!
It's been months, years, I've been tracking forever! I am tired of taking my basal body temperature, and tired of checking my Cervical Mucus, and Tired of feeling around for my cervical position!
I know, It's tedious, it's obnoxious, and to be quite honest, it hasn't worked all that well up to this point! well Dear, it is working. It's helping you find out more about your body, and your natural cycles, and rhythms, and things of that nature.
Not only that, but it's helping rule things out! It will tell you how long your normal cycle is, it will tell you when to expect an interruption of the "regularly scheduled sex" because of Aunt Flow, and it will become the proof your dr needs to start you on Fertility drugs if needed.
So keep it up Momma to be! It will all be worth it in the end when you are holding that beautiful baby in your arms! :D

To test or not to test, and speaking of.. which test is best?
So I know this is an important one on everyone's mind! To test or not to test!
I'm not sure if I"m pregnant, I feel weird, and it' s too early/late to be my period, I'm bleeding, but not period bleeding, crampiness.. could I be ovulating? Could I be pregnant and encountering implantation bleeding?
So many questions swirling around in my head! I can't seem to make a decision!
Lets make this easy! Every two weeks, pee on a stick.
It doesn't matter if it's a dollar store test, or a 20 dollar test, if you test every two weeks, you will figure out pretty darn quick when you are expecting!
I personally prefer to use the Clear Blue Easy tests, they are just easier to deal with, and I feel like I"m really getting my money's worth when I can buy 5 for 22 bucks!
That doesn't make it the best test out there, and to be perfectly honest, in the end, the best test out there is the one that says positive! Right? lol That's what I thought.
So Choose a day of the week, and make sure that once every two weeks, you pee on the stick, make it part of a nice routine, do the deed, and then start the water for a nice warm bath, apply a facial mask, and put up your hair.
After you are done with that, three minutes should have passed, look at your test. Either way, whether it's positive or not, it doesn't matter. You can relax the stress of a negative result away with the bath, or quickly scrub off the mask and screech your way down the hall holding the test above your head as you tell your hubby! :)
Easy advice huh?
Enjoy your testing days, they may lead to a small bout of depression, but at least if you test every two weeks, you can pin point the date of conception easier. :D
Hope that helps all!

All I want for Christmas is two pink lines
Well hello there ladies! if you are reading this, it's because you are TTC, Pregnant, Have just lost a baby, or been told you can never have kids.
What we want to Accomplish with this blog:
Knowledge! I want to empower all of you ladies to take charge of your fertility!( yes that's a book title, get it read it :D) I want you to understand the signs of fertility and be able to take advantage, or avoid them.
Answers! I want to put answers to questions in here, so that you can have a little relief. Talking to your dr is hard! and most of them don't want to take the time to ahve an in depth conversation about your problems, " Take these pills, have sex" ok..... not good enough for me! and I"m sure it's not good enough for you either!
Give Advice! There are Three of us here, and none of us are Doctor's, we Just know what it's like to hear the works
" You'll never have Children"
" You are medically Infertile"
" I"m sorry Ma'am, you've lost the baby"
" No dear, I don't want to have kids"
We have all felt the shock, cried the tears, then we figured out that the doctor's aren't always right, that our bodies heal, and that as our relationships strengthen Hope can return!
Busting through Embarrassment! You shouldn't be embarrassed by your body, that's not fair! You should be in tune with your body, understanding it's needs, and clues.
Cervical Mucus! OMG I said it! It's natural, and it's the only thing that will make sure his swimmers reach your egg(s) without dying!
Screw Guilt! I want you to know right now, that we have all had the thought,
" Why is it that I want to get pregnant, a nd can provide a good stable home for a child, yet can't conceive, yet Suzy dropherpants over there is pregnant once a year?"
Yeah, that's normal, don't feel guilty, it's human nature to be jealous, and want what we don't have, and covering it in a righteous anger is also normal.
In a nutshell Education. Support. Sympathy.
We are the blessedbethemommas3, and we are here for you.
Thank you for reading! <3

A mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside... when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone.

Before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were here an hour I would die for you

Everything grows rounder and wider and weirder, and I sit here in the middle of it all and wonder who in the world you will turn out to be.

Making a decision to have a child--it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.
-- Elizabeth Stone
Pregnant women! They had that weird frisson, an aura of magic that combined awkwardly with an earthy sense of duty. Mundane, because they were nothing unique on the suburban streets; ethereal because their attention was ever somewhere else. Whatever you said was trivial. And they had that preciousness which they imposed wherever they went, compelling attention, constantly reminding you that they carried the future inside, its contours already drawn, but veiled, private, an inner secret.
-- Ruth Morgan
The most important thing she'd learned over the years was that there was no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.

There are three reasons for breast-feeding: the milk is always at the right temperature; it comes in attractive containers; and the cat can't get it.
